What is a Domain?

Can I purchase my own Domain?

Yes, a Domain needs to be purchased and its registration has to be  renewed regularly to ensure that you remain its owner.

What is Website hosting?

Website hosting is required in order to get your website online. It is the space that you ‘rent’ which houses your web files and allows users to access your site and the information contained in it.

Are there any other on-going costs to keep my Website published?

Yes, to keep your website published you will need to ensure that it remains hosted and that your domain is also valid. Also, it is necessary to have all the associated tools and addons updated.

Note that both, the website hosting and domain registration are interdependent.

Do you redesign existing Websites?

Do I need to test my Website?

Yes, we will need your support with testing the project, 

Testing and achieving sign-off will require some time investment at the end of a project, and potentially at intervals across the life of the project too – So make sure that you set aside some time in your diary for when it’s needed.

How will you handle project payments from us?

We work on a 30% upfront basis with 40% payable upon the agreed designs and layouts. This is when we shall require all content and relevant details for each page to allow us to proceed. The remaining 30% is payable upon completion of the project.

Can you help me rank higher in Google?

Ranking high in Google search results is like gold dust. These days it’s a lot more challenging due to higher and stricter compliance requirements from Google. Thankfully, we have the SEO tools and know-how to maximize your chances.

Can you do a health check and speed optimization for my existing Website?

Will I own the source code?

Yes, you will be assigned appropriate copyright or license rights for the bespoke code that we write for your project. 

The complete code for your project shall be provided to you.

Can we connect our existing Website/Tools/CRM with our App?

Usually yes. Most app systems will have an interface for integration. This can be  an API documentation, or a Plugin that can be used for the integration development.

I want to receive online payments on my App, how does this work?

How do I ensure that my App remains published and downloadable?

You will need to ensure that it remains published in Google Playstore / Apple Appstore and also to ensure the validity of all associated App addons and integrations.

How will you handle project payments from us?

We work on a 25% upfront basis with 25% payable on the agreed designs and layouts based on the scope of works. Upon making the App available for testing, 30% will be payable. The remaining 20% is payable upon completion of the project.

What is an API?

API is the acronym for Application Programming Interface, which is a software intermediary that allows two applications to talk to each other. 

What is a Plugin?

A plugin is a software add-on that is installed on a program, enhancing its capabilities. For example, if you wanted to watch a video on a website, you may need a plugin to do so. If the plugin is not installed, your browser will not understand how to play the video.

Do we need to purchase the API/Plugin?

Depending on the use case there maybe API's and Plugins available at no cost however, for advanced features and functionality they would normally require purchasing.

Is there any extra cost for integration?

Yes.  This will depend on the shipping courier you are integrating with and whether or not they have an API/Plugin available.

How long does it take for implementation?

This completely depends on your project requirements and the availability of the information required for the integration.

An IPG is a merchant service that processes credit/debit card payments for mobile apps, ecommerce sites and traditional brick and mortar stores. 

This service is normally available through banks as well as other third-party payment providers.

Can you host my Emails?

Will I lose any email when switching over to your service?

No, when you move your email accounts to our hosting, we guide you through the process to ensure that no messages are lost during the transition. Simply contact us here to start the process.

How do I access my mailbox?

You will be able to access your mailbox in two ways, either by setting up your email account on your mobile or by accessing it through the webmail via internet.

How many email accounts can I create?

This will depend on your requirements.

To keep your email accounts active, you will need to ensure that it remains hosted and that your domain is also valid.

Can I use ServQuick Cloud POS in the absence of Internet?

If you are using a tablet device with our iOS or Android App, you can continue billing and the data gets synced once the internet connection is back up. However, you would still require an internet connection to continue billing if you are using the Web app.

What are recommended hardware specifications to run ServQuick Cloud POS?

Any PC / Mac with Google Chrome browser. In case of iPad App, you require iOS 7 or above and for Android App, you require Android 6 and above.

Can I import the menu from my existing POS App into Servquick Cloud POS?

Now that you have the menu ready, all you have to do is put them into a CSV file. This can be downloaded from the POS settings, which is available at Item > Import and set your menu in no time and start selling.

Do I need your physical attendance to setup the POS in my store?

There will be no need to visit your store as the entire setup can be done online and via remote connection. 

How is the pricing set for ServQuick?

Pricing for ServQuick Cloud POS is based on a subscription model, which starts with a free 14 day trial. You do not need to do any setup or re-enter data should you decide to purchase. What does the Subscription fee cover?

The Subscription fee covers continuous product updates, daily support to clarify your queries via email, chat, voice support and remote connection to your device.

What is the licence model of ServQuick?

The license model comes in two ways:

a) Register - The licence will be mapped to a unique device and ServQuick can be accessed only from that particular device through a single login.  Multiple users can be created with their own login credentials.

b) Admin User - Can be accessed from anywhere, regardless of the device used but only one user can login at any given time.

Will ServQuick work for me if I have multiple branches under same business?

Can I import data from other software into RetailEasy?

Yes you can.

Can I import Item (also known as SKU or Product), Customer, and Supplier details?

Yes, download the corresponding .xls upload sheet, enter the SKUs, Customers and other relevant details and upload into RetailEasy Software.

How soon can I start using the system?

RetailEasy is designed with care that requires no or minimum computer knowledge. Once you add or import item, customer, and opening stock of the items from a .xls file, you can start selling.

What happens when my trial license expires?

After the expiry of your 14 day trial, your RetailEasy account will be locked. If you still need more days to evaluate, we can extend the trial by another 7 more days for sampling the features.

Can I increase or decrease Users & Registers?

Yes, you can increase or decrease the number of Users and Register licenses as per your need.

Do I have to take back-up of sales, customer, and other details?

No, you do not need to take back-up of any data because there is a backup automation tool provided. If required, you can also export all data to save elsewhere as a .csv, .xls or .ods file.

Do you also store a backup of my data for security purpose?

Yes, we store and maintain the required master, transaction and other data on your user account at our hosted data center.

What are the minimum system requirements for RetailEasy?

Does RetailEasy require an internet connection to use?

No.

What types of printers are supported?

Supports all types of printers such as Laser Printer, Thermal Printer and the Inkjet printers of all the brands.

Can I print my barcode labels?

RetailEasy can handle all the barcodes such as EAN Codes, UPC Codes, IMEI, ISBN or Other Serial Numbers. You can print barcodes on receiving purchase items or any time after receiving.
